This Privacy Policy is provided by TheAIlove ("we", "us", or "our"), the legal business entity that operates the TheAILove service at theailove.com. TheAIlove is the data controller responsible for the personal information processed through the Service.

  • Account information: When you register, we collect your email address and authentication details so we can create and secure your account.
  • Usage data: We collect the texts, prompts, and options you input into the application to process your AI generation requests.
  • Service data: We collect technical data such as IP address, device identifiers, browser type, and usage logs to operate and secure the service.
  • Communication data: When you contact support, we collect the messages and information you provide.

2. How we use your information

We use your personal data strictly for the following purposes:

  • To provide, maintain, and optimize the AI generation features of the Service.
  • To manage your account and active subscription status.
  • To respond to support requests and communicate important service updates.
  • To prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
  • To improve the product through aggregated analytics and error monitoring.

Our legal bases for processing are: contract performance (to provide the service you signed up for), legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, and product improvement), consent (where explicitly requested), and legal obligation (where required by law).

3. Data sharing and recipients

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with the following categories of recipients:

  • AI model providers: Your inputs are sent securely to our providers (such as OpenAI and ElevenLabs) solely to generate your outputs.
  • Merchant of Record (Paddle): Paddle processes all payments, subscription management, billing, tax compliance, and invoicing on our behalf. Paddle's privacy policy applies to payment-related data it collects.
  • Service providers: Hosting, analytics, support tooling, and email delivery partners who process data only on our instructions.
  • Professional advisers and authorities: Legal, accounting, or governmental bodies where required by law or to protect our rights.

4. International transfers

Some of our service providers may process data outside the UK and European Economic Area. When this occurs, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as EU Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions to protect your data.

5. Data retention and security

We implement industry-standard security measures, including encryption in transit and access controls, to protect your data. Your inputs are sent securely via encrypted APIs to our AI model providers solely to generate your outputs. Your data is not used by us or our partners to train public AI models.

We store your account data only as long as your account remains active. When you delete your account or your data is no longer needed for the purposes described above, we delete or anonymize it, except where we are required to keep it by law.

6. Your rights (GDPR and UK GDPR)

If you are located in the European Union or UK, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Request the correction or deletion of your personal data.
  • Request restriction of processing or object to processing.
  • Request data portability.
  • Withdraw consent at any time where processing relies on consent.
  • Complain to your local supervisory authority.

We aim to respond to requests within one month. To exercise any of these rights, please contact our support desk within the app.

7. Cookies

We use the following cookies to operate and improve the service:

8. Payment information

We do not store or process your credit card details on our servers. All financial transactions are handled securely by our Merchant of Record, Paddle.com. Paddle collects your billing information in accordance with their privacy standards.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We encourage you to review this page periodically for any changes. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
